News Update - Secondary School for JIS

Japanese International School is delighted to announce that it is part of the consortium that has been granted access to develop a new Secondary School in the New Territiories of Hong Kong.

International College Hong Kong will provide an exciting new opportunity for secondary education within the New Territories. With a planned opening date in September 2009 the school will provide full education for JIS students from 4 years to 18 years. The I.B. Diploma will be offered to students as a final qualification. Application may be made by contacting Hong Lok Yuen International School - one of our partner schools in this project. Applications are welcome immediately with interview process taking place late November 2008 - in preparation for admission in August 2009. Please log on to www.ichk.edu.hk for  more details

The staff of Japanese International School - International Section wish all their students and families a very happy and healthy summer holiday. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday 24th August 2009. 

 

The school office will be closed from July 1st - 10th. Office hours through the rest of the summer will be 8:30 - 4:30pm. Please contact Ms. Miyajima on 2834 3531 for any assistance.

The school uniform shop will be open on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st August from 10am - 2pm.

 

 We wish all our students who are graduating or leaving for new schools around Asia and the world, the very best of luck. We hope you take happy memories of your time at JIS with you and we look forward to hearing of your progress as you start your new school.
