Secondary School for JIS - Welcome to ICHK September 2009

Japanese International School is delighted to announce that it is part of the association that has opened a new Secondary School in the New Territiories of Hong Kong. ICHK - International College Hong Kong opened its doors to students on 1st September 2009. This is an exciting opportunity for all JIS students and their families. We wish Mr. Roy White (Principal) and all hs staff the very best as they prepare to open this new school.

International College Hong Kong provides an exciting new opportunity for secondary education within the New Territories. Opened in September 2009, the school provides full education for JIS students from 4 years to 18 years. The I.B. Diploma will be offered to students as a final qualification. P4 Class assembly this Wednesday at 2:15pm in the Multi Purpose Room.

 Please complete and send back your survey regarding our I.B. evaluation in May 2010, we would appreciate as many as possible being returned, thank you. 

We hope everyone found their Parent Teacher interviews informative and productive last week. Great to see so many parents around school.

ESSPA charity book sale for 'Room to Read' was a great success. Many thanks to everyone who helped both at school and by donating books. Final total of funds raised, coming soon.
