JIS - Japanese International School, Hong Kong

At JIS, we work very hard to ensure that we provide significant, relevant, challenging and engaging learning opportunities for our students.  Our programme of Inquiry is developed with the involvement of all our staff, and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure our programme is meeting the needs of all our students.

Students engage in six transdisciplinary Units of Inquiry each year, with the exception of Reception students, who complete four.  Our Units of Inquiry are planned using a conceptual focus, to ensure we are giving our students a broad understanding that can be applied to many situations, regardless of time or location.
