In line with our philosophy of ensuring that our students are prepared for their future world, we are keen to ensure that they have appropriate access and training in the use of ICT. To this end, we have ensured that all classrooms are equipped laptop access to our wirless network around the school. The develeopment of ICT skills is an ongoing process to ensure that all students can access appropriate technology to ensure that they can get the most out of their Units of Inquiry. We also have a fully equipped computer lab which houses enough computers to ensure individual access. Students have access to weekly sessions in our computer lab, where apropriate, to learn new skills and software applications that can be applied to their studies and research.
In addition to our 40 laboratory computers, students also have open access to our portable banks of laptop computers. These laptops are wirelessly networked and provide the opportunity for unique learning experiences within the classrooms, corridors and other areas of the school.
All of our classrooms are now equipped with interactive whiteboards or screens. This allows our teachers to deliver our curriculum in a more exciting and innovative way. Our whiteboards are used in variety of curriculum areas, including maths, language and to develop our Units of Inquiry.
