Our school library is a learning centre. It is managed by our PYP coordinator. The library is an important place in our teaching and learning programme. The library collection is very extensive and students are given access to the library regularly during the school week. The library is used for the borrowing of books for students to take home and is also a key area where students can go to research, as part of their current unit of inquiry. We have computer provision in the library and as the whole school is ‘wireless' networked, students can be working on laptops as well. We value and welcome the involvement of parents in our library, assisting with book borrowing and research lessons in addition to other library jobs including covering, repairing and shelving books.
